The trees died because he poisoned them. He was trying to kill the radish so he sprayed the trees with his boomspray and the trees died. He pushed them over and put in a new fence. 

BA(Arts) Curtin, 7 solo exhibitions, numerous group exhibitions. Tania Spencer’s art combines the textile techniques of knit, crochet, embroidery or weaving with rural, industrial or recycled materials. Works often take the form of large scale knitted installations from fencing wire, sculptural objects, jewellery and embroideries of heavy wires onto metal supports.
